About Us

Bishop Kenneth M. Yelverton is the Founder and Senior Pastor of The Temple of Refuge International Fellowship, located in Charlotte, North Carolina. He is anointed to extract from the Holy Scriptures revelatory messages that bring deliverance and healing to the total person; mind, body, and spirit.

Bishop Kenneth Yelverton is the last of seven children, born to Bishop & Mrs. Frizelle Yelverton of Durham, North Carolina. After graduating from Hillside High School, he obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. In preparation for ministry, he obtained a Master of Divinity Degree from the Hood Theological Seminary in Salisbury, North Carolina. Presently, Bishop Yelverton is a Bishop Donald Hilliard/Dr. Len Sweet Fellow, Candidate for the Doctor of Ministry Degree from Drew Theological School in Madison, NJ.

Bishop Yelverton is Founder and Visionary of The I.M.P.A.K.T. Network, which stands for Interdependent Ministries and Pastors Aligned for Kingdom Training. IMPAKT is a network of Ministries and Pastors connected through covenant relationships in which Bishop Yelverton serves in general leadership, planning and expanding the outreach of the Network.

Bishop Yelverton is married to the lovely Sharon Anthony Yelverton of Gastonia, NC, and he is the proud father of Germain, Kendall and Kendrick.

Bishop Yelverton’s personal motto scripture is 2 Corinthians 4:5, 7 which reads, “For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord and ourselves your servants for Jesus’ sake… But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God and not of us.”
